Our Commitment to Education
Education is at the heart of our CSR efforts. Since 2014, we’ve supported over 4,000 students across Karnataka through scholarships, career guidance, and volunteering. Our partnership with NIAMT (Formerly National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology -NIFFT) in Ranchi includes a dedicated scholarship named after Mr. Jan Johansen, a visionary in Green Sand Moulding technology and former DISA India Board Director.
Each year, we proudly recognize the top 10 meritorious students, empowering them to excel academically and develop industry-ready skills.
Infrastructure for Learning
We’ve helped schools and institutes upgrade their facilities—building chemical labs, garages, and sanitation infrastructure to create safer, more effective learning environments.

At DISA India, sustainability isn’t a side initiative — it’s built into everything we do. From our operations and supply chain to the technologies we deliver, we’re committed to reducing our environmental footprint and creating long-term value for our communities and customers.
We’ve identified greenhouse gas emissions as a critical risk and have committed to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) — setting clear goals to reduce emissions and achieve net zero in line with global climate needs.
Renewable Energy at Tumkur Plant
In 2024, our Tumkur manufacturing site made a major leap by switching to renewable energy — reducing carbon emissions and reinforcing our commitment to clean, responsible production.
Rainwater Harvesting at Tumkur
With four recharge pits now in place, our Tumkur facility actively captures and reuses rainwater, contributing to sustainable water management and reducing dependency on external sources.
Wastewater Recycling through STP
A Sewage Treatment Plant installed in 2023 treats wastewater for reuse in gardening and sanitation. This initiative has already saved nearly 1 million litres of freshwater — reinforcing our commitment to responsible resource use.
Greening the Future
Reforestation Near Bengaluru
As part of our 5-year pledge to plant 5,000 trees by 2027, DISA India has already planted 4,000 native saplings in a specially developed green zone near Bengaluru.
This initiative supports biodiversity, enhances carbon offsetting, and contributes to healthier ecosystems. Every tree planted is a step toward a cleaner, greener, and more resilient tomorrow.
